USU Board Announcement: Announcing the New United States University President, Dr. Scott Burrus

Dear members of the United States University Community,
As you are aware, the USU Board of Trustees conducted an extensive search for its new President. We received literally hundreds of resumes and reviewed over five dozen in great depth. Interviews were conducted with eight candidates of the initial group. This process resulted in a group of four individuals selected for in-person half-day interviews in San Diego conducted by Board members and a panel of senior staff from all areas of the University.
I am pleased to announce on behalf of the Board that Dr. Scott Burrus, currently our distinguished Provost, has accepted the position of President of United States University beginning March 16, 2024. The Board will support and work with Dr. Burrus through the upcoming months as he transitions to his new position.
We thank you all for your patience in this process and know you too will support President Burrus as he leads USU forward.
