Why contact the Office of Accessibility Services?
The Office of Accessibility Services provides reasonable accommodations to all students with:
- disabilities
- temporary conditions
- pregnancy and postpartum status
- religious observances
For Disability requests- please review the Disability Documentation Standards here and then please review and complete the Disability Reasonable Request form found here. Please return completed forms to the Office of Accessibility.

Extended time on individual assignments: The student is granted the maximum allowed extended time of 48 hours from the original due date to complete and submit individual assignments. The extended time does not cover discussion questions, calendar days for exams, any group assignments or any assignment that has peer interaction. Additionally, all assignments must be submitted by the end of the term. Any extension past the end of the term no longer is an accommodation, but falls under the University's Incomplete Policy found in the Catalog.
Students who need assistance are encouraged to reach out to Accessibility Services to begin the process for accommodations.
