United States University and Indeed Launch Job Search Academy for Students and Alumni

New Job Search Academy provides students and alumni with free tools, workshops, and guidance for every stage of the job search.

United States University (USU) is pleased to announce a new collaboration with Indeed to provide students and alumni with expanded career development resources through the Job Search Academy by Indeed and United States University.

The Job Search Academy is a free, virtual career development program designed to help participants build confidence and strengthen the skills needed to navigate today’s job market. The program complements the personalized guidance offered through USU Career Services by providing practical, on-demand resources that students and alumni can access throughout their professional journeys.

Participants can complete five focused sessions covering essential areas of career development:

  • Developing an effective job-search strategy
  • Creating a resume that stands out to employers
  • Preparing for job interviews
  • Evaluating job offers and negotiating compensation
  • Identifying career goals and managing long-term professional growth

The collaboration also connects members of the USU community with additional Indeed resources, including job-search tools, application tracking, career guidance articles, and Career Scout, Indeed’s AI-powered career coaching tool.

USU Career Services provides virtual support to students and alumni at no additional cost. Available services include career planning, resume and cover-letter assistance, interview preparation, job-search guidance, and individualized appointments with Career Services staff.

Students and alumni are encouraged to explore the Job Search Academy, complete the five-session program, and connect with USU Career Services for additional personalized support.
