United States University is proud to host SCORE San Diego’s workshop, “QuickBooks Basic” on Friday April 21st from 1pm – 4pm. The second event in this series will be held on Friday, April 28th from 1pm – 4pm.
Learn to use the most popular bookkeeping software ever! You can do your own bookkeeping and control all your finances in-house. This class demonstrates all the basics so you can get started right away.
Please note: This workshop does NOT cover QuickBooks online or QuickBooks for a Mac.
- Setting up a company
- Customer invoicing
- Receiving payments
- Tracking receivables
- Entering and paying vendor bills
- Receiving and tracking inventory
- Credit card charges
- Reconciling and preparing financial statements
This is a lecture-format workshop on PC. You will receive comprehensive handouts to follow the computer-based visual demonstration. You may bring a laptop for hands-on participation, but individual computer issues cannot be addressed during the workshop.
SCORE is a volunteer, non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the success of small business in both San Diego and Imperial Counties. They provide free and confidential business assistance to both prospective entrepreneurs and existing small business owners, as well as conduct a variety of low-cost workshops on how to establish and manage successful businesses.
