College of Nursing and Health Sciences Faculty to Present at WSCUC Academic Resource Conference (ARC)

The faculty of the College of Nursing and Health Sciences (CONHS) were selected to present two symposiums at the 2020 WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) Academic Resource Conference being held in Orange County, CA on April 22-24, 2020. Dr. Yvette Lowery and colleagues will be demonstrating how the use of © 2019, Loom, Inc. technology improves student engagement. They will describe how this technology allows screen sharing along with audio and visual feedback for assignments submitted from students. Dr. Donna Stachowicz and Dr. Jennifer Billingsley will be discussing how the USU FNP on-campus clinical immersion applies experiential learning modalities and includes student and faculty feedback for program improvement. The CONHS Dean and Faculty are excited to contribute their knowledge and experiences to this annual WSCUC conference that highlights “models of effective, data-oriented and results-based practices that lead to meaningful action” in higher education.
