Responsibilities of United States University College of Nursing adjunct faculty include teaching, and attending virtual faculty meetings. We provide required training on Adobe Connect, Brightspace, and any other technology that we will be asking you to use with your students in the courses you teach. We provide mentoring with a full time faculty member. In addition, we value innovative teaching methods and experience with synchronous and asynchronous online education. Ideal candidates for these positions must have a PhD, DNP,or EdD (but an MSN candidate will be considered for teaching in the RN to BSN program) and be licensed and certified nurses in their specialty, and have experience with application of evidence into clinical practice. Adjunct faculty will be teaching online, do not have to relocate and may do this job from their current location.
Adjuncts Are Currently Needed to Teach In the Following Programs/Certificates:
- Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner
- Master of Science in Nursing – Nurse Educator
- Master of Science in Nursing- Health Care Leadership
- RN to BSN
