US University’s RN to BSN program offers flexible and accelerated scheduling designed to help nurses achieve a degree as quickly as possible while maintaining their busy work schedules. This accredited program is available online, on campus, or in whatever combination you need to make going back to school fit into your lifestyle.
While earning your RN to BSN you’ll learn a holistic approach to patient-health assessment that includes: medical history, physical examination, documentation of findings, interpretation of diagnostic testing, psycho-social assessment techniques, and health promotion across the life span of a patient.

Three Different Paths to your BSN
RN with a diploma (31 credits from Nursing Diploma may be accepted for transfer. 25 credits must be GE)
- 27 prerequisite credits
- 30 core credits
- 12 elective credits
- 3 credit portfolio
RN with an associate’s degree in nursing (72 to 90 credits may be accepted for transfer. 45 credits must be GE)
- 30 core credits
- 9 prerequisite credits
- 9 elective credits
- 3 credit portfolio
RN with a bachelor’s degree in a field other than nursing (Up to a maximum of 90 credits may be accepted for transfer. 57 semester credits must be GE)
- 30 core credits
- 3 credit portfolio
Requirements for Enrollment
- Have a valid, unrestricted, unencumbered RN license from the US
- Cumulative GPA of 2.0 (for students who have earned a bachelor or associate’s degree).
- Minimum of a grade of “C” in all nursing courses.
- Minimum of a grade of “C-” (GPA of 1.75) or better in all general education courses and in math/science courses.
