The USU College of Education offers programs to prepare students for careers in education and teaching. If you have a bachelor’s degree in a field such as mathematics, science, social science, music, physical education, spanish or English, our teaching credential programs will prepare you for a career in the classroom in a little over a year. If you’re already an education professional, our graduate program will prepare you for advancement into administration.

Master of Arts in Education

The Master of Arts degree in Education (MAED) is designed for educators who are interested in enhancing their career through advanced professional knowledge and for non-education professionals who are seeking a career change.
