Graduation Ceremony

Each year, U.S. University holds one graduation ceremony in San Diego, and all graduates from that academic year are invited to participate. Graduates receive their diplomas within 12 weeks of graduating.

Awards and Recognition

U.S. University teachers frequently congratulate students who are achieving great things in the classroom, and students are often found remarking on each other’s achievements, so recognition is not in short supply at U.S. University.

Undergraduate Students

Students who demonstrate exceptionally high academic scores are eligible for graduation honors. Academic honors are posted to the final transcript when the student’s degree is conferred

  • Summa Cum Laude graduates hold a GPA of 3.80-4.00.
  • Magna Cum Laude graduates hold a GPA of 3.65-3.79.
  • Cum Laude graduates hold a GPA of 3.50-3.64

Graduate Students

Graduate students who with a cumulative grade point average of 3.7 or above will be eligible for graduation honors and awarded the status of “With Distinction”.

Time: Graduates are encouraged to report by 8am, Ceremony begins at 10am
