CCNE Third Party Comments
The College of Nursing at United States University, located in Chula Vista California, is seeking comments from the public about the Masters in Science in Nursing (MSN) programs. This is in preparation for an initial evaluation for national accreditation by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). CCNE, an autonomous accrediting entity, is recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education to accredit baccalaureate and graduate degree programs in nursing.
The MSN programs will undergo a comprehensive on-site visit September 8, 9, and 10, 2014, by a team from the CCNE. This team will review the MSN programs’ ability to meet the CCNE Standards for Accreditation of Baccalaureate and Graduate Degree Nursing Programs and key elements.
Written, signed comments concerning the MSN programs’ qualifications for accreditation status will be received by CCNE 30 days before the scheduled visit. CCNE shares third-party comments with members of the evaluation team before the visit, but at no time with the MSN programs.
The Public is invited to Submit Comments to:
